Spring School Pictures

At our school, they take a fall picture (for the yearbook) and a spring class picture, along with another individual one they try to get you to buy.  I never buy the spring picture so I don't pay too much attention to "picture day" in the spring.

Here is Thomas, looking handsome...They send these pictures home to guilt you into buying them of your cute kids. I never do. :)

Well, I TOTALLY  forgot this year about picture day, and Charles went to school in the stupidest shirt he owns.  Not only that, he had an eye doctor appointment that morning and he slapped a panda sticker on his shirt from the doctors office.  He is also sporting a VERY cheesy grin.  He told me "mom, I got the pictures back today...  but you probably aren't going to want them"  We had a good laugh about this one.  Even he realized how silly he looks. 

Mom of the year here!  I sure hope they put him on the back row for the class pictures.

February FUN!

February Started out with Papa's Birthday. Charles, Grammy and I celebreated at PF Changs. YUM!

Valentines day came soon after, and Charles gave us a sweet card made with conversation hearts!

We had heart shaped Pizza for dinner

We went to a STARS game...

They lost but it was really fun!

And Charles, Carly, Tony and I had an impromptu picnic on the front driveway one afternoon when it was warm and sunny.

Grammy and I had a quick girls trip to Canton...we shopped til we dropped.

 And Carly ate Thomas's allowance for the month!

Happy New Year

Well, it's 2013. Another year gone.  We had a great time at the Gneiting's ringing in the New Year with an all night kids-and-grown-ups Bunco party!

Here we are wrapping up the Bunco play.  Karl is tallying up scores and awarding prizes.

Soon after, it was midnight. We toasted and the kids ran outside to pop some confetti.  Then, Karl cranked up the tunes and the brave had an impromptu dance party!

Kona was wondering why we were still there and not sleeping.

 

 

 Karl and Charles were the masters on the dance floor!

Christmas 2012

Christmas 2012 

 

The Kalls in Flower Mound had another great Christmas. We missed our family in San Antonio, but will hopefully see everyone soon!!

 

The boys got new nutcrackers and advent calendars on December 1st (family tradition)

We have quite the collection growing

 

A few days later we had hot chocolate and decorated our tree.

 

We went to church on Christmas Eve, than spent the evening with Grammy and Papa. We ate pizza, played a game and the boys opened one present.

 

 Charles was very excited about these walkie talkies from Grandma and Grandpa Kall!!

Joshua and Thomas loved the new basketballs too!

 

Next it was PJs and tracking Santa on Norad.  Then off to bed!

 

Christmas morning...the boys must have been good this year!

 

Thomas got a new guitar! An airsoft gun a plasma ball and some clothes.

 Charles got some games, a bow and arrow, an ihome and a razor flash rider. He also got an airsoft pistol.

Josh got a new airsoft gun, a kindle fire HD some video games and clothes.

All the boys also got this popcorn popper!! Just like at the movies and Carly got a stocking full of stuff including this huge candy cane bone!!

Then later that afternoon, it began to SNOW.  We thought we were going to get just a few snowflakes, but we actually got a few inches! It was so much fun.

We headed to Grammy and Papas for Christmas Dinner and more presents!
 

Charles got a metal detector and a new robe!!! He loved it.
We ate our Winton traditional dinner of Beef tenderloin with bernaise sauce and twice baked potatoes. Yum!

 

The next day the boys played in the snow before it melted and shot their new airsoft guns!!
